CRU (Orlando, FL)- CRU was looking to add a second power source to their data center to create a “B” power source. In adding this infrastructure, we constructed a dedicated room to house the new UPS, input/output distribution, chilled water cooling, and fire pre-action system. During the installation of the added UPS, we needed to add this system into their EPO scheme. The current EPO system would not allow for additional outputs so it was time for an upgraded system that could accept all of the various equipment that needed to be shut down in the event of an emergency situation. FGCC had designed a custom panel to accept the necessary inputs and outputs. The old system was demoed out and the new system installed, and commissioned.
